AEGs (airsoft electric gun) are fully automatic airsoft rifles powered by a battery and an electric motor. Electric guns are the most popular type of airsoft rifles. In full auto mode they continue to pump out BBs for as long as you hold down the trigger. There is no cocking or pumping required.

AEGs come in many different shapes and sizes, but the most common AEGs are modeled after guns used by military personnelle from around the world. The most popular AEGs are modeled after the M14, M16, AK47 and G36. Although there are many others as well, these are the models you will most likely find on an airsoft battlefield.

When using an AEG it is very important to do so saftely. Always wear eye protection, and it is a good idea to also wear a helmet which covers your ears and a face mask to cover your nose and mouth.
