All airsoft guns use the same size BBs, 6mm. However, there are many different kinds of BBs to choose from. Before buying you need to make sure that you're buying quality BBs. Low quality BBs can jam or even ruin your airsoft rifle if they break inside the chamber. We recommend TSD Tactical brand BBs. They are moderately priced and precision machined. They are also very smooth, which makes the fly straighter and farther.

After you decide what brand of BBs you want you need to determine the Best weight for your gun. BB weights range from 0.12 grams up to abou 0.43 grams. The general rule is that the heavyier the BB is the straigher it will fly, but the lower the velocity. If you have a powerful airsoft sniper or an upgraded AEG then it is better to get heavy BBs. However, if you are just staring out and have a lower quality and lower power gun then you might want to use 0.12g.

The most commonly used weight of BBs is 0.20g. BBs which are lighter have very low density which makes them more prone to breaking. Many airsoft manufacturers discourage the use of BBs lower than 0.20g by voiding the warranty if BBs lighter than 0.20g are used. Check the documentation which came with your gun to make sure you buy the right kind of BBs.
