Unlike other types of airsoft guns you don't need any special power source. The guns are cocked manually. This means that you can shoot the gun as much as you want as long as you have ammo.

A spring powered pistol is usually the first type of gun that an airsof player buys. They are good beginner guns but in a match with high powered AEGs they are not going to be very useful.
